Happy Thanksgiving! Every year it seems like it gets harder and harder to gather everyone in the same spot! So terribly annoying but worthwhile to put in the extra work to see each other! I was happy to have the holiday off of work & enjoy delicious treats with my family & Dillon’s family! Mom was recovering from surgery Thanksgiving break, so we were flexible with planning & enjoyed a low key evening. We have so much to be thankful for & I love cozy holidays that take the time to be grateful 🙂
One day I plan to learn how to make real foods with substance, but for now I’m obsessed with baking or fun desserts! Introducing- Turkey Truffles!
Ingredients
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 10 oz of melting chocolate
- Candy corn
- Candy eyes
- Red icing
Directions
- Crush the entire package of Oreos in a food processor
- Combine with softened cream cheese & mix until well combined
- Roll out into 1 inch balls and let chill for ~2hrs
- Melt chocolate and dip balls
- Immediately after dipping add candy corn & candy eyes
- Add wattle with red icing
- Keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve
