Wednesday night we celebrated my Mom’s birthday! While we are still learning to perfect COVID event planning & style…. I think we pulled off a Wine & Design celebration at home very well! If only every week night dinner was as cheerful & festive!
We picked up fresh flowers from Harris Teeter for our arrangements & Mom got some of the best cards + porch deliveries from friends 🙂 We stuck with the “paint theme” and found watercolor table wear & I even found tiny easels for place cards! -Micheals
After a quick rearrangement of the dining room, everyone was set up with their own paint station, colors & palette, as we all strived to complete the flower design Mom chose, things get competitive quick!
No birthday is complete without Baskin Robbin’s ice cream cake!
& we kept dinner super easy with Chickfila to go & some of our other favorite mix ins…
this way we had more time to paint + celebrate!
Turns out painting is super relaxing & fun, not something we do very often, but definitely a chill way to hang out! I recommend a paint night for everyone! A fun distraction to break out of the COVID/Quarantine funk…
& the big reveal of the finished products!
