This fall, Dillon & I enjoyed the ultimate Alumni appreciation weekend! We coordinated the weekend to be able to enjoy a football & basketball game, made it out to so many of our favorite spots from college & just really soaked in the beautiful fall weather! Little did we know when planning this trip it would also be our last weekend before Lucy, so it also worked out as “puppy-moon” if you will 😉 It is no secret that Boone is our favorite place & it was our first trip back up the mountain since our wedding! Time flies!
For this trip we stayed in the cutest AirBnB- our 1st tiny house! It was very close to campus & the perfect place to crash after a day out, super cozy, convenient & space efficient! Here is the link to our {Tiny House}
The space included a downstairs living room area with a sink & TV, mini fridge & full bathroom
Up the ladder was a lofted Queen size bed which was positioned over the back bathroom area & closet
It seems crazy, but it was a great space for just Dillon & I, we had plenty of space for our bags & food + really enjoyed the surrounding mountain farm scenery, front porch & camp fire space! Compared to my dorm, this would’ve felt like a dream mansion if I had lived here in college!
During our trip we scored the ultimate fall weather!! It was so sunny & nice outside!! Always chilly & windy but a dry weekend in Boone is a gift! Friday night we headed to The Holmes Center to catch a game 🙂

Of course while in Boone, we also soaked up all the Southern comfort foods-
an early game day breakfast at Dan’l Boone Inn
& THE BEST Chicken Philly of ALL TIME at Foggy Rock Eatery & Pub
Overall it was a GREAT trip, quality time in our favorite place with the best of Boone at every turn! I love this town & every time we go back I’m ready to move! Going to App was the best decision hands down & I love our special retreat 🙂
Absolutely cannot wait to return again soon!
