These photos were taken the day we left the hospital (March 18, 2023) it was such a surreal day?! Our little baby was going to come home with us!! We had gotten used to our one room hospital life & now we were about to take this show on the road!! Wow!
I watched her first “photoshoot” with complete joy & awe!

For her first coming home outfit I selected the Marie Chantal Angel Wing tracksuit. The classic all white piece with the delicateย Angel Wing detailon on the backย and the plush velour fabric is perfect for baby’s soft delicate skin. It seemed just snuggly enough for March and so pure and sweet. I laid the plush onesie in her crib a few weeks out and would snuggle it and dream of our little angel wearing it herself on those long pregnancy insomnia filled nights.
We kept our baby’s name a secret until delivery, just in case we changed our minds or went a different direction… it was a total surprise for our families! I didn’t order anything personalized until the week before when I felt we were pretty locked in… YAY for quick shipping! It was fun to showcase her new name with the Caden Lane personalized blanket and it was the perfect picture background!

Our hospital offered a newborn photo shoot in hospital & I am SO glad we took advantage of it!! This is the only “real photo” we got of all 3 of us in the hospital! Those first few days in the hospital were a whirlwind, we had so many visitors, were trying to catch up on sleep, learn baby care & keep up with all of the paperwork and snuggles! My only regret is not using my camera or the sign I packed! -so for that I’m thankful ๐ I really appreciate the hospital taking these photos our last day there, I will cherish these forever! crazy filter borders and all! ๐
