Happy Friday! Volume 52

1. Christmas Eve festivities

We celebrated Christmas Eve at my parents! After a delicious dinner and fun game night we baked giant Christmas tree cookies! I found the best sprinkles at World Market to decorate with and it was fun to try royal icing on a large scale 🙂

2. Christmas Baking

This year I knocked out lots of baking! I took on 7 layer bars, m&m hug pretzels and sausage balls all on Christmas Eve eve. It was a big project- Devon & Lucas helped, but I didn’t mind the work- I really enjoy baking! Now if I can just master the rest of the menu, maybe next year!

3. My 1st outdoor Christmas party

Dillon’s family hosted a COVID compliant Christmas. With enough layers it actually wasn’t too bad in the daylight, we had lots of warm food and space heaters close by. We all exchanged gifts, made memories and were COVID stress free, win-win!
