OMGOSH!! WE ARE DONE WITH NURSING SCHOOL?!
HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE??!
DREAM COME TRUE!!
To date this has been my most expensive, complicated, stressful endeavor… with that being said this has been the most fulfilling, exhilarating and greatest dream realized! ~all at the same time! challenges are weird like that, aren’t they?
Looking back I can’t even believe I had enough nerve to take this on, I came in ready to go & determined as ever. ~wish I could go back & hug that girl! I definitely kept the momentum going during the last 16 months, but I was ragged mid second semester… after a few deep breaths I picked up right where I left off & onwards + upwards!
Honestly, not quite sure what I expected from this program…. but I definitely didn’t expect to make a new best friend!
Shout out to Leigh!
My ultimate tag team partner!! We met on the 1st day & hit it off right away! SO THANKFUL for Leigh, literally I couldn’t have found a better friend, confidant, study buddy, lunch date, survival partner… you name it! I would pick her!!
PRO TIP- you absolutely cannot do nursing school or nursing alone, period! Find your people & look out for each other, you won’t regret it!! You always need a friend to bounce ideas/questions off of each other, study, confide in, encourage each other, teach each other, literally help you clean up a mess or fix an emergency…
Nurses are the best & I am so thrilled to know so many great ones & join the club.
It is truly an honor!!
Next stop NCLEX & then we are HOME FREE!!!
