May 12, 2019- Nursing School Graduation Day today is a major day in history for me!
If you had asked me 5 years ago, even 2 years ago what my plan was or what I would be doing right now… it would never be this, I could have never imagined it! Life has a funny way of working out, so if you feel discouraged or defeated, keep going, keep working hard and have faith… you never know what is waiting around the corner!
When you are finally headed in the right direction of where you are supposed to be, you will feel this sense of inner calm. Not every day was perfect & easy, but I know I am meant to be a nurse & my journey to school had to play out the way it did in order for me to be prepared! Seasons of waiting are extremely hard but worthwhile.
Today was so special & satisfying to know that I had achieved my goal. While I could’ve never done it on my own, I was the one studying hard & running on little sleep, I’m happy to have put in the work & look forward to the future. I truly believe you can really do anything you put your mind to!
